This book is the result of exhaustive research, poring over dozens of private collections and institutional archives in a bid to trace the history of the first century of photography in Lanzarote. As well as guiding us through the defining characteristics of photography on the island and the photographers themselves, it also presents some of the best photographic images taken during this period.
